Manages and schedules regional Personal Assistant Services in assigned areas. Works with consumers to hire their attendants and self-direct their care to promote an independent lifestyle. Completion of care plans and educating both consumers and attendants on their duties and responsibilities.

Personal Assistant Administrative Support—Pocatello

Assists in processes of payroll, involving billing, claims/authorizations, and entering consumer information and schedules into servicing software. Manages and oversees consumer information files and provides information and referral to consumers, agencies, and others.

Administrative Assistant—Pocatello

Isela B.

Provides clerical support, information and referral, and assistance checking out equipment from our Assistive Technology Library. Responsibilities including being familiar with community services, greeting and assisting consumer, answering incoming calls, and maintaining Assistive Technology Library service records.

Youth Transition Specialist- Pocatello

Brandon P.

Assists youth with disabilities 10-24 in learning independent living skills. Works with youth transitioning from school to post high to learn skills to live with increased independence. Assists with teaching skills and connecting students with disabilities to resources for competitive integrated employment. Helps teach and coordinate our driving simulator

Oversees our self-directed Personal Assistant Program with expertise in understanding Medicaid’s Aged and Disabled Waiver. Responsible for ensuring consumers and LIFE are complying with Medicaid regulations.

Finance Director—Pocatello

Assist with day-to-day operations. Expertise in financial management and human resources.

Independent Living Manager—Pocatello

Responsible for providing essential leadership and oversight to the Independent Living Program.

Rick H.

Rick Huber has been an advocate for people with disabilities for over twenty five years. Being a person with lived experience of mental health disorders, has lead to being active as a member of the Idaho State Planning Council on Behavioral Health among several other councils and governing boards, including the Idaho State Independent Living Council.

Mark G.

Mark worked 34 years for the Pocatello and Butte County school districts as a teacher, coach, vice-principal and principal.  He then worked for 2 state disability agencies, advocating for kids and parents.

Board Member

Carol C.

Carol has a passion for assisting individuals in becoming independent in their lives.  She retired in 2020 from a 30 year career working with individuals with disabilities for the Idaho Industrial Commission and most recently for the Idaho Division of Vocational Rehabilitation.  Her education includes a Master of Education, Counseling and Human Services, University of Idaho, and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor certification.

Board Member

Kelley O.

Kelley is a retired Audiologist, joined the LIFE board in 2023. “I use a wheelchair as a result of MS, but I see this as a gift, because the challenges that come with disability have opened unique opportunities.”  She makes the most of living in beautiful Idaho by exploring the outdoors with her husband in their UTV.
